Apple Watch Series 9 owners rejoice: Double Tap is finally here.
Yes, the coolest "new" feature of Apple's latest batch of smartwatches has finally rolled out in a software update, according to a press release from the mothership itself. It's part of the watchOS 10.1 update, so download that to make sure you're all set to start playing with Double Tap.

According to Apple's press release, Double Tap is on by default on any Apple Watch Series 9 or Apple Watch Ultra 2 running watchOS 10.1. It can be turned offin the settings menu, if you so prefer.
Once you've got Double Tap up and running, it can be used for a wide variety of actions. It can start and end phone calls, start or stop workout reminders, take iPhone photos, snooze alarms, and much more. It's an all-purpose action that simply requires you to tap your index finger and thumb together twice in quick succession.
