據了解 ，到万卡納瓦羅與廣州足球俱樂部的退税合同是在2022年年底到期 ，從這一紙公告來看 ，雙方已就提前一個賽季解約達成了共識 。有媒體透露 ，卡納瓦羅放棄了1.2億的薪水，但也得到了4000萬元的退稅作為補償。據悉 ，這原本屬於俱樂部的一筆優惠政策收益，廣州隊將此當成提前解約的賠償 。
