北京時間1月28日 ，即曝此前埃弗頓解雇了貝尼特斯 。兰帕如今 ，德将顿双达成埃弗頓終於要敲定新帥了 。入主據名記羅馬諾報道稱 ，埃弗蘭帕德已經與埃弗頓達成協議 ，协议他將會成為埃弗頓新任主教練 。复出方已在蘭帕德的即曝執教生涯中，埃弗頓將是兰帕他執教的第三家俱樂部。
2017年2月2日，德将顿双达成蘭帕德宣布掛靴退役 。入主2018年5月31日，埃弗蘭帕德正式開啟了教練生涯 ，协议他與英冠球隊德比郡簽下了一份三年合同 。复出方已2019年夏天 ，蘭帕德與老東家切爾西走得非常近，德比郡因此在2019年6月25日批準了他的辭職申請 。
在告別德比郡之後 ，蘭帕德很快就成為了切爾西主教練。2019年7月4日 ，蘭帕德與藍軍簽下了一份三年合同 。但在2021年1月25日，蘭帕德就因為戰績不佳而被切爾西解雇 。在解雇蘭帕德之後 ，切爾西請來了圖赫爾，圖赫爾則率隊在20/21賽季中爆冷贏得歐冠獎杯。
在賦閑一年之後 ，蘭帕德如今在埃弗頓“再就業”。在去年夏天 ，埃弗頓被皇馬挖走了主帥安切洛蒂 ，新帥貝尼特斯也很快失去了對球隊的控製。在英超積分榜上 ，埃弗頓排名倒數第五，隻比降級區高出了4分 。蘭帕德的頭號任務，就是率隊完成保級大業 。
