《depor》報道稱 ，归老就像每年年底所發生的退役那樣 ，關於莫雷諾轉會的外媒望謠言又一次發生 。這位35歲的莫雷中場球員不會與上海申花續約 ，他希望回到哥倫比亞國內結束自己的恢复職業生涯 ，而莫雷諾的自由老東家國民競技隊則會“張開雙臂”歡迎他。
文章表示 ，身希莫雷諾希望回到自己的归老老東家 ，因為這是退役哥倫比亞國內最大的一支俱樂部 ，他希望以一種輝煌的外媒望方式來結束自己的生涯 。不過目前來看，唯一的阻礙就是莫雷諾的薪水問題，如果最終國民競技成功引進這名中場球員 ，球隊的中場創造力將會加強，足以應對2022賽季新的挑戰。
