Florian Plettenberg表示 ，马内薩利哈米季奇在周末時曾與馬內的经纪军交經紀人有過會麵 ，向其了解了馬內與利物浦間的人或續約問題 。由於馬內與利物浦的拿格纳布合同在2023年到期，因此如果雙方間的拜仁續約陷入僵局 ，將是总监拜仁挖角塞內加爾人的好時機。
《天空體育》同時還表示 ，面换馬內的马内年薪不到2000萬歐元，這是经纪军交拜仁支付得起的價格 。與此同時 ，人或由於拜仁與格納布裏的拿格纳布續約談判不順，因此不排除用格納布裏與馬內進行交換的拜仁可能 。
但《體育圖片報》記者法爾克卻駁斥了Florian Plettenberg的消息 ，他表示薩利哈米季奇確實與馬內所屬的經紀公司有過會麵 ，但雙方之間並未討論到馬內的話題 。
