同時文章提議 ，办世“無論是界杯韓國單獨舉辦世界杯，還是选择中日韓聯合舉辦一屆有48支參賽隊的世界杯 ，都是韩媒韩联合举不錯的選擇 。”
此前 ，中日國際足聯主席因凡蒂諾曾表示 ，办世單個國家舉辦世界杯或將成為過去 ，界杯因為多國聯合舉辦可以“確保可持續性” ，选择這是全球目前倡導的一種趨勢 。
