阿紮爾於2019年夏天自切爾西加盟皇馬，創下了1.15億歐元的天價轉會費 。但自打來到皇馬起 ，阿紮爾就由於接連不斷的傷病 ，始終未能找到在切爾西時期呼風喚雨的狀態 。而比利時人的身價也一路走低 ，從切爾西時期最高的1.5億歐元 ，一路下跌至如今的1800萬歐元 。但阿紮爾 ，如今也隻有31歲而已……
本賽季，阿紮爾的狀態持續低迷 ，雖然有過22次出場記錄 ，但出場時間隻有877分鍾 ，隻交出了1球2助攻的數據 。
