相比於C羅的雞湯文，土耳其隊主帥昆茨則在思考如何限製C羅。昆茨表示 ：“一對一是防守C羅的一個方法 ，但是我們的計劃是要依靠全隊的防守 。我們必須限製其他球員給C羅的傳球 ，甚至不讓他拿到一對一的機會 。”
