北京時間3月29日 ，據《鏡報》報道，联选曼聯尋帥目標之一的帅已事再说路易斯-恩裏克打破沉默 ，對來自老特拉福德的做出關切之聲做出了回應 。
曼聯高層正在研究和接洽他們下賽季的承诺新主帥 ，現任主帥朗尼克自上任時起就被明確，恩里將在本賽季結束後轉任顧問一職 ，联选因此他們依然處於帥位的帅已事再说動蕩之中。
滕哈特與波切蒂諾是做出目前的兩個最大熱門人選 ，但51歲的承诺西班牙隊主帥路易斯-恩裏克也是其中的佼佼者 ，關於這份工作的恩里競爭目前仍然是開放的 。
在西班牙對戰冰島賽前 ，联选恩裏克明確的帅已事再说回應了這一緋聞 ：“我會和西班牙隊一起前往卡塔爾世界杯 ，我對此已經做出了承諾 。做出沒有什麽比代表我的承诺國家隊參加世界杯更讓我興奮的了，那之後的事，我們再看吧 。”
恩裏克自2018年以來一直統領西班牙國家隊 ，中途有一段時間他因為個人原因離開了這個崗位4個月的時間 。而他最為人所知的執教履曆是在2015年 ，憑借MSN鋒線率領巴薩奪下三冠王 ，僅就這一點而言的話 ，他的率隊榮譽遠勝另外兩位 。
